ADVANTAGE Car Rental at Miami Airport

Upon your arrival at Miami Airport, please remember to retrieve your luggage from the baggage claim area before proceeding to the MIA Mover, the inter-airport train that will take you to the MIA Rental Car Center where you will find a number of the rental car companies available at Miami airport, although not all. Find the Advantage rental desk and after registration they will direct you to their shuttle or means of transfer to the location of your rented vehicle.

Helpful information when renting an Advantage vehicle at Miami Airport

Drivers are required to be at least 21 years of age to rent a car with Advantage.

All drivers have to provide a valid driver’s license valid throughout the entire rental period issued in the driver’s country of residence. If the driver’s license is printed in a language other than English or not in the Roman alphabet it is required to provide an International Driver’s Permit, IDP - a translation of your license into 9 different languages. The IDP is in addition to your driver’s license.

Additional drivers can be added to the rental agreement provided they meet the same requirements as the main driver and are present at the time of pick up. Additional drivers are subject to a daily additional surcharge.

A valid passport is also required for all foreign drivers and renters.

Returning a rented Advantage vehicle at Miami Airport

Vehicles cannot be returned to the airport itself. Please consult with Advantage on instructions regarding the return of your rental car.
