THRIFTY Car Rental at Miami Airport

Customers of Thrifty can join the Blue Chip Express Rental Program. It is free to join, and members will enjoy many benefits, such as the special ‘Blue Chip Lines’ that will get you to the counter faster. The collection and return processes are made quick and simple. Blue Chip Members can participate in a variety of reward programs that can earn them free rental days or mileage. Once you have rented for 16 days, you will receive a Rewards Certificate which allows for a free rental day.

Another popular innovation from Thrifty is their Wild Car ™ Program. If you select this option you will be guaranteed a Mid-size car or larger vehicle at rates lower than a Mid-size. The vehicle will have at least 5 seat-belts and space for 2 pieces of luggage or more. Once you are at the rental counter, the location will select the vehicle for you. When booking online, you must select ‘Wild Car’ as your car class. In step 1 select the ‘Specialty’ car class or choose the ‘Specialty/Wild’ car class in step 2.

Customers of Thrifty, Miami Airport, can hire the Chevrolet Aveo or similar vehicle in the Economy class, and the Dodge Calibre or similar in the Compact class. Larger SUV's include the Jeep Liberty, Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo, Dodge Durango and the Chrysler Aspen. Luxury vehicles include the Chrysler 300 Touring and other similar models. Examples of convertibles available are the Chrysler PT Cruiser, which is a Mid-size convertible, and the Chrysler Sebring, which is a standard convertible.

The rented vehicle may only be driven by an authorized driver. An authorized driver is the renter, and any additional person who is present at the time of rental and signs the rental agreement. Each authorized driver must meet the rental age requirements; have a valid driver’s license and a major credit card in their name. Please be sure that you bring a valid credit card and your driving license and also the license of any secondary driver.

Vehicles rented from Thrifty Miami Airport, should be returned with a full gas tank unless you have chosen the prepaid fuel option.
